Kresnik's work is based on the last three days in the life of the American poet Sylvia Plath, who committed suicide in 1963. Interviews with Kresnik and the principal dancer are interspersed through excerpts from the work, to illustrate Kresnik's choreographic ideas, his work with the dancers, and his views on the life of Sylvia Plath.
